Drawing students took turns modeling for a partner and then drew a portrait of the same partner. This was an unguided drawing so that students will be able to see their own growth by comparing the portrait from the beginning of the quarter to the end of the quarter.
Painting students read chapter 6 aloud (pages 81-87). Miss Svaren did a demonstration on how to create a color wheel and then students were given time to paint their own color wheel.
