Symbolic sculptural Self-Portrait

SymbolsAnytime one creates, it is essentially a portrait of who that person is at the time. For this project, it is intentional. The goal is to create a sculptural portrait of yourself that includes symbols to represent the many aspects of your personality. Those symbols will let the viewer know about your character, aspirations, how you want to be seen, etc.

Steps
1. Make a list of qualities that best describe you. It may help to think about how others see you.
2. Consider what those qualities would look like in terms of color, texture, objects, etc. 3. Sketch out plans (minimum from 3 angles). Include drawings from multiple angles for your symbolic sculptural self-portrait. 4. Pick a foam head and begin. |
