CD Jacket for a unique band
For this assignment, both Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop are required. The goal is to create a CD cover and of course the back. Keep in mind that you can include an insert inside the cover for added detail. Include the CD title and band name on the sides and the title of the songs on the back.
The name of the band should be unique. Don’t pick a band that already exists!
Objective:
- You will need to include at least one photograph. Of course, there is no need to be limited to only one. Feel free to include more. One of the logos created at the start of the year may also be prefect for the logo of the record company producing the album.
- You may bring in images taken (by you) outside of school or take new ones in class.
- You must apply at least one filter in Photoshop.
- Be sure to set up your document to the appropriate size. Depending on what you plan to include will dictate the shape.
Dimensions:
FRONT cover is 4.75" x 4.75"
BACK cover is 4.75" tall x 5.875" wide. The sides of the CD that include the title and band name are each .25" wide.
